Chief Investment Officer & Co-Founder, Tekmerion Capital Management
Zachary Squire is the Chief Investment Officer and co-founder of Tekmerion Capital Management, a systematic global macro investment manager based in New York and backed by the family office of Mike Novogratz. Prior to Tekmerion, Mr. Squire traded Emerging Markets from the London office of HBK, a US-based multistrat. Before HBK, Mr. Squire spent three years at Bridgewater Associates, where he worked in the Research Department on the "Ray Team" which supported the CIO's investment strategy research, and in the Trading Department where he headed the firm's FX trading execution strategy. Mr. Squire began his career at D.E. Shaw, where he performed a variety of roles including engineering new firm-wide risk reports reporting directly to the firm's CRO. Mr. Squire graduated as valedictorian from Princeton University, where he was also recognized with the Atkins Prize in Classics, the J. Wells Henderson Prize for best university-wide undergraduate independent research, Phi Beta Kappa membership, and other academic honors; he studied Classics (Latin and Ancient Greek).
